Samaila S. Noma is a Professor of Soil Science at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Nigeria. He hails from Dongo Area of Rafin Zuru District, Zuru Local Government of Kebbi State. He graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Agriculture from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. He obtained M.Sc. in Agronomy (Soil Science Option) from the University of Ibadan in 1998 and a Ph.D. in Soil Science (Pedology) from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, in 2005.
