I was born in Arsi, Ethiopia and attended my elementary, secondary and preparatory school there. I have studied my bachelor degree at Hawassa University ()bachelor of food science and post harvest technology and Masters degree at Addis Ababa University (Food science and Nutrition) respectively. I have served at selale dairy cooperative union and Ethiopian Food, Beverage and pharmaceutical Industry Development Institute as production operator and junior researcher respectively. Now, I am serving as Researcher at Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research.
