Dr Emile N. HOUNGBO is a Benin citizen, Agronomist Engineer, Associate Professor at the National University of Agriculture (UNA) of Porto-Novo in Benin. He is twenty five years of experience in andragogy, research, and socioeconomic studies, especially the study of plantain trade in West Africa, the competitiveness of onion (Allium cepa) in Benin, agrobiodiversity and adoption criteria of maize cultivars (Zea mays L.) in middle Benin, and the study of constraints to cocoyam (Colocasia esculenta) farming development in southern Benin.
